Hi my names Molly and for a while I have been drawn to runes and their history/uses. I was wanting to do something unique but would hold a lot of meaning and purpose for myself, personality , and the people I work with. I am an EMT and aspiring paramedic/firefighter and my career and education mean everything to me. What I was hoping was possible was the use of runes on my fingers? with the intention of using the runes capabilities on myself and my patients, trying to put the positive and thriving energy I’m going for into my patients and coworkers. Like a conductor of sorts if that makes sense? Even thinking about it means the world to me and I don’t think it’s coincidental at all to feel that way.

Hi Molly, this is a compassionate move. Healing through Runes is absolutely possible and is a common practice. However, it all depends how you will be using energy of the Runes. Learning Runes and have a permission to use them can come at a cost. Odin made some serious sacrifices to receive this knowledge. “A gift for a gift” is the meaning of Rune Gebo and it applies to other Runes too. The Runes may ask from you what are you going to offer in return for them to give a part of their energy to your patients. And this is something to think about, aside from the need to learn how not to absorb energy of patients, how to cleanse yourself and protect yourself. Many new energy healers pay a great price for their work. Hope it helps a bit.
