I just found this page today while trying to learn more about healing runes to put on a tattoo I'm planning. I have chronic migraines every day, along with rheumatoid arthritis, and a couple other autoimmune diseases. I also fight depression and anxiety neat constantly, so I'm trying to find a healing rune (or a couple, but not many) that I can add into my current tattoo.
I have a celtic heart knot tattoo that is a necklace pendant on my right wrist, and an appoinyment to go back and get the chain done so it wraps around my forearm a couple times, including a couple broken links to symbolize where my life path fractured and became what it is now. I'm planning on having one of those small tags done on the clasp part of the chain (where the metal used is usually stamped?) But instead use 1-2 small runes, turned so they're upright when my arm is palm up & facing me. I want something for healing- both mentally and physically, and maybe even strength. My health has been a horrible fight my whole life, and it drags at me, so I want something there to try and combat that, and to help me remember I can and have overcome some awful things.
Does anyone have any advice for this? Thanks in advance
Hello! Uruz is the most healing Rune in Elder Futhark. You can also add Ansuz, it’s good for strength and well-being. I highly suggest though that you look into Bundrunes. I think you can accomplish much more with them for specific ongoing health issues.
